The practice was so successful that in 2007 MAP founded Investing In Communities®, a nonprofit social enterprise, to scale its idea of client-directed, broker-funded philanthropy. IIC enables individuals and companies to support the charity of their choice, at no expense, when they have a brokered real estate transaction anywhere in the country. MAP has since contributed over $500,000 of its commissions to its clients’ favorite nonprofits through IIC®.
